Current sophomore and junior students affiliated with the Atlanta University Center Consortium are invited to apply for the summer 2018 Vincent P. Slatt Fellowships for Undergraduate Students in Energy Systems and Processes at the University of Notre Dame. Administered by the Center for Sustainable Energy at Notre Dame (ND Energy), awards are granted to students who have research interests in energy technologies and America’s energy future. Energy technologies range from the means to improving the use of fossil, nuclear, and alternative energy sources for power or fuels production to the development of more efficient transportation and energy utilization systems. Each award is $5,000 and may be used for travel, housing, meals, and other associated expenses. Students who receive Slatt awards will be required to submit a final report and present their research at the Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium. The anticipated dates for this summer research program are May 21 to July 27, 2018.
