Pinewood Springs Community Wildfire Protection Plan

The Pinewood Springs Community Wildfire Protection Plan was created in 2010. The CWPP is being updated this year by a group composed of volunteers from the Pinewood Springs Fire Protection District, the Pinewood Springs Property Owners Association, the Pinewood Springs Water District, the Pinewood Springs Road Advisory Board, and the Estes Park Estates Road Board, as well as representatives from Larimer County, the St. Vrain Forest Health Partnership, the Colorado State Forest Service, and the United States Forest Service.

The CWPP is an important tool for protecting the community from the impacts of wildfire by educating and preparing residents and property owners, and by enhancing eligibility for grant funding and other resources to accomplish fire mitigation, hardening, and resilience activities throughout the community.

The 2010 Pinewood Springs Community Wildfire Protection Plan is available for your review on the Pinewood Springs Fire Protection District website (https://pinewoodspringsfire.org).
