At the conclusion of this program, the participant should be able to:
· Discuss current evidence-based treatments in neurological and neurosurgical emergencies.
· Discuss strategies to decrease transfer time to a comprehensive stroke center for acute ischemic stroke and hemorrhagic stroke patients.
· Review the management of ischemic stroke patients post IV or mechanical thrombolysis.
