Applicant Information
The information requested in the City of Atlanta (Fulton/DeKalb Counties) Jurisdictional HIV Prevention Planning Group (JPPG) Membership Application is to assist in creating a qualified and diverse planning group reflective of the HIV epidemic in Fulton and DeKalb counties. Applicant information will remain confidential and will be used for demographic and membership selection purposes only.
JPPG has the following objectives:
To foster a community planning process encouraging inclusion and parity among all community planning members; To carry out a logical, evidence-based process to determine the highest priority and population-specific prevention needs in the jurisdiction.
JPPG members are expected to actively participate in six half-day JPPG meetings each year, and membership is contingent on being present at the plenary and committee meetings. Members are expected to serve on at least one committee, which will also meet six times a year.

The JPPG Membership Committee will review the applications and make a recommendation to the entire Planning Group for approval.
Group membership will include, and not be limited to: persons living with HIV/AIDS; individuals with HIV-related expertise; individuals representing agencies that serve an at-risk population; healthcare providers; and Metropolitan and State planning groups.
Members currently needed for the planning group are:
LGBTQ Young Adult
Transgender
Latino/Latina
DeKalb County Residents
Applicants must be a resident of Fulton or DeKalb County and/or agency of service located in Fulton or DeKalb County.
