Parent & Carer Survey - Gabriola Autism Network

Welcome

The Gabriola Autism Network has heard that there is a desire for parents and carers with children with autism to connect with others and develop a peer support network.

The Network with PHC and a grant from the Red Cross Strengthening Community Capacity to Support Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund will foster a supportive network amongst parents and families with children with autism under the age of 18 on Gabriola, Mudge and Decourcy Islands.

Are you one of these families? If so, we would love to hear from you!

The Network will be hosting some family friendly events and activities specifically designed to be sensory accommodating.

We also anticipate parents carers will need respite for their attendance at any group meetings/forums/or roundtables. Simultaneous supervised children's activity program will be offered. An option for virtual meetings will also be offered.

All activities will be offered with funds from the grant. Families will not have to pay to participate.

This survey asks you what your current needs are and what kind of ongoing support and network would work best for you in the future. It takes about 5 minutes to complete.
