Town of Middleton, MA - ARPA Survey
Thank you for agreeing to participate in our survey! We are conducting a study to help advise local decision makers on how the ARPA funds should be spent.
Thank you in advance for understanding that this survey is for individuals who live, work, or own a business in Middleton.
This survey is part of the town's effort to design a transparent, accessible, and equitable project selection process for allocating funds. The survey will take about 7-9 minutes to complete.
For reference, the four main categories for municipal spending via The American Recovery Plan Act (ARPA) are:
1. Respond to the COVID-19 public health emergency or its negative economic impacts, including assistance to households, small businesses, and nonprofits, or aid to impacted industries such as tourism, travel, and hospitality;
2. Pay workers providing essential work during the COVID-19 public health emergency;
3. Provide government services to the extent of the reduction in revenue to the Town due to the COVID-19 public health emergency in the most recent full fiscal year; and
4. Make necessary investments in water, sewer, or broadband infrastructure.
Additional feedback on how the Town can use ARPA funds can be submitted via email to firstname.lastname@example.org
