And why do you choose that option? Birth or Infancy - New life is just starting, energy and attendance is increasing, and the church has strong Vision and Relationships Childhood or Adolescense - Energy and attendance is increasing, and your church has a few more programs and processes to support your vision. Vision, Relationships, and Ministries are strong. Adulthood or Maturity - Energy and attendance is high and increasing. "Life is great," is the feeling at the church. Vision, Relationships, Ministries, and Structures are all strong. Empty Nest or Retirement - Energy and attendance is definitely declining. The church is beginning to lose track of a clear sense of purpose, and people don't enjoy being together as much as they used to. While Vision and Relationships are lacking, the church still has a strong Structure. Old Age or Death - Energy and attendance is low, and there is concern about viability. By the "Death" stage, the community of faith has lost its love for making disciples and transforming the world. Why did you select the phase you did?
