The mission of WFME (World Federation for Medical Education) is enhancing the quality of medical education worldwide. Currently the priorities of WFME include promoting accreditation through the WFME Recognition Programme, elevating standards for medical education by publishing expert consensus on standards, and maintaining the World Directory of Medical Schools.
