Upgraded Skeptics Board?

Larger SKEPTICS Game Board Prototype?

Hello everyone! We just wanted to give a pretty significant update. We are still working on the expansion (more to come in a week or so), but as our units of our original game are being sold, we have to start thinking of our next print run. There will be a few small minor updates in this next print run (rule clarifications, better trim cut for Barricade token, and some other minor changes). However, we were thinking of upgrading the original game board to a larger, quad fold board. This will allow more space to move around in each room, have slightly larger icon sizes (increased 120%, and font size from 10pt to 12pt for x2 and x3 text), and just all around more room to play. This does take up just a bit more space on the table, but it is not overwhelming. Below are picture comparisons of a draft Print and Play copy of the Quad fold Board, alongside the manufactured original.

We wanted to take a poll on what everyone thinks of this idea! We honestly think this is an amazing update as we always wanted to make a larger board, but we were confined with costs. If we move forward with the bigger board, we will be printing off extra copies of the board to sell to first edition backers who want the bigger board. We are using this survey to determine the level of interest and to help us decide how many copies of the larger board we would need.

Note: As we said in the Kickstarter, the first edition has components the second print will not (the extra ghosts and storybook); those will be separate. This upgraded board is something we are considering for the upcoming print run based on community feedback and our vision for the game moving forward. We wanted to make sure we also offered this upgrade to the existing community if there was desire for it.

The price of the board itself will be very reasonable; we are hoping it will be under $15 (plus shipping). We are still trying to figure out all the numbers involved (manufacturing, freight, and shipping), but our goal is to sell this board only a couple dollars above our costs to manufacture and freight it to us. We just want to ensure our existing customers have this option if it is the default game board moving forward.

Notice the extra space around the characters; this should allow more room for multiple players in some of the smaller room. We do realize the door pieces won't be a big, but that should not impact their usability.
1.Do you like the larger prototype board?
2.If you currently own the game and if we offered the new board for a small fee, would you be interested in buying the new board? The new board will fit in the original game box.
