2023 Staff Interest Survey
It looks like we will again be offering a full palate of camps this summer but they will remain a bit different in some ways. We have enrollment caps on all our camps, some new protocol will continue to be put in place. We will continue to follow all the relevant guidance to keep the number of people in our camps at any given time within the limits that will promote good health. Ultimately, we want to be ensure that the safety and supervision of all campers is a top priority.
Summer 2021 we implemented one big change regarding distribution of pay checks. For the weeks that you do work, your paycheck will be distributed two weeks after the week you worked. This is due to the fact that Arlington County overhauled the camp administration process. They handle all the registrations and thus will be paying Sportzcampz4kidz after each week of camp, they have 30 days to pay Sportzcampz4kidz after the completion of the week camp. We are exploring an online paycheck system as well.
We will be in contact with potential staff by June 1, at the latest.
If you selected to work, there are a few requirements that must be met by June 20. CPR/1st Aid Certification, Concussion Awareness, and Background Check to name a few. We will share more info on these in the near future.
Get your shot, including booster if applicable, vaccination is the key to returning to normalcy.

There are some weeks when when only have 1 camp going, thus less staff will be needed for those weeks. And, there are some weeks when we have 5 camps, where we will need up to 25-30 staff.
