Estimating the value of wine tourism and cellar door claims
The Australian Government is seeking feedback from Wine Victoria on the estimated level and types of claims that can be expected when the new Wine Tourism and Cellar Door Grant is introduced. This is expected to be at the same time as the new Wine Equalisation Tax rebate is reduced from $500,000 to $350,000 in July 2018.
The Wine Tourism and Cellar Door Grant will be capped at $100,000 per claimant, per year. Total claims from all producers can not exceed $10million.
By completing the survey below, you will assist both the Australian government and Victorian producers to understand what the estimated total of claims the grant will attract and how much (if any) claims will be reduced proportionally across applicants.
