Welcome to the 2025 World Energy Issues Monitor Survey!

Thank you for accepting our invitation to contribute to this important initiative. Your insights are vital for tracking global and regional energy trends and uncertainties, guiding our collective action priorities toward achieving faster, fairer, and more far-reaching energy transitions.

Each year, the World Energy Council gathers perspectives from a diverse range of policymakers, business leaders, and experts from the energy sector and beyond to monitor issues influencing the pace and scale of energy transitions.

The World Energy Issues Monitor provides critical insights into Action Priorities – areas where countries and companies are actively advancing their energy transition efforts – and Critical Uncertainties – issues that require leadership attention.

The survey covers six key areas:
1. Geopolitical issues
2. Economic issues
3. Societal issues
4. Environmental issues
5. Regulatory regimes
6. Technology Gamechangers

Survey Duration: It should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete.

Release: The findings will be released in February 2025, with all responses treated anonymously.
