Information for respondents

This is a survey designed to gauge editors' and senior journalists' concerns about, and responses to, the Snowden revelations regarding state surveillance on newsroom practice - with a particular focus on the implications for investigative journalism and protection of sources/journalists. The results will feed into World Editors Forum's coverage and research on these issues (designed to inform and equip newsroom leaders). The (de-identified, to protect your privacy) outcomes will also be submitted to UNESCO for consideration as part of its major Internet Study into freedom of expression and privacy online sparked by the Snowden revelations http://www.unesco.org/new/internetstudy
