The City of Taft has been working on some Economic Development strategies to promote existing businesses and to attract new business development within the City.  An Economic Development Ad Hoc Committee was formed to assist the City Council in prioritizing actions and projects to reach that goal.  One project involves the updating of the City logo, to create one that both symbolizes all that is Taft, while also attracting those that have yet to see what Taft has to offer.  On the next page are the current City logo and two new designs that can be used by the City on business cards, letterhead, billboards & Citywide directional and entry signs.
