What is LIEAP?

The Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) provides a one-time (per heating season) heating supplement for low-income families. Applications for assistance are accepted December 1 - March 31 each year, or until funds are exhausted.

What is CIP?

The Crisis Intervention Program (CIP) provides assistance to eligible households that are in a heating or cooling related emergency. The goal of the CIP program is to help families stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer. By doing so, this reduces the risk of health and safety problems such as illness, fire, or eviction. ** Based on available funding - funds are received annually on July 1st and may not last the entire year.
