Community Ownership Survey - Shaping our future...

We need your help to shape the future of the West Calder Hub...

West Calder Community Education Association (WCCEA) have been managing the West Calder Hub as a SCIO since 2019 and now the local council (West Lothian Council) which owns the building, has offered it for Community Asset Transfer as part of its cost saving measures. This means that it would be owned and run by the community, thus safeguarding its future.

In order to secure the building WCCEA is consulting the community on its vision for the building going forward to inform a business plan to demonstrate the viability of the transfer from Council ownership. All user groups and the wider community are being consulted to help shape this plan, so please take a few minutes to tell us what you would like to see happening in the building over the next 5 - 10 years.
