April 2026: Fuel Crisis Impact Survey

As fuel supply challenges and rising costs continue to impact businesses across the Whitsundays, we are seeing the strength and adaptability of our local business community once again come to the forefront.

At the same time, we recognise that these impacts are not being felt equally, with some businesses experiencing significant disruption to operations, increased costs, and ongoing uncertainty.

The Whitsundays Chamber of Commerce and Industry is your voice in advocating to state and federal government. To ensure we accurately represent the real impacts of the current fuel situation, we are seeking direct input from businesses across the region.

This short survey will capture how fuel supply and pricing are affecting your business operations, costs, staffing, and confidence over the coming weeks.

The insights gathered will be used to inform advocacy efforts, support requests from government, and discussions around both immediate relief and longer-term solutions.
