New Member Info & Point of Entry Form
Thank you for your interest in membership to the Wright County Coalition Against Racism (WCCAR). The change we want to see in the world starts within each of us, so we are so grateful that you have taken this step to work collectively to stop racism, dismantle systems of oppression, and make our community a more equitable place.
Please take a few minutes to tell us a little bit about you and which of our committees may be of interest. If joining a committee right now may not be the right step, that's ok. General membership is also always an option. The following will help us know which membership option best aligns with your interest, how to send you communication, and provide us some initial information to get to know you better as you get to know us.
After you complete this, we encourage you to head back to our website and register for the next monthly member meeting on the Events page. These meetings are on the last Tuesday of every month, and it's a great way to meet many of our members, the steering committee and get the latest info on what is happening within the group.
Another way to get started is to register for our monthly Book Club. These are smaller groups who spend the month on books focused on the topics of racism and racial equity and how we can be allies to do the work to change ourselves and our world. We do weekly written discussions on the books and then gather virtually at the end of the month to discuss each book. Registration for Book Club is also found on our Events page.
We look forward to getting to know you better and being a valuable part of the WCCAR movement.
