WCC Alleghany High School Survey

Wilkes Community College is considering adding some additional educational programming in Alleghany County, which could involve constructing a new building at the Alleghany Center to house these programs. Before the college invests $400,000-$800,000 in a new facility and equipment for new programs, they want to make sure there is enough student interest to enroll in these programs in Alleghany County.

Animal Science (this program is geared toward agriculture, probably with a focus on poultry or cattle. This is not connected to veterinarian or vet tech studies)

Information Technology (Networking, Programming, Game Design, etc.)

Advertising/Graphic Design

Construction Technology (Electrical, Plumbing, Masonry, HVAC, etc.)

Criminal Justice (This does not include specific law enforcement training you need to be a police officer—those courses are available at the WCC Wilkesboro Campus)
