LUMEN Society is offering a $1000 scholarship for a 2020 high school graduate who has been impacted by invisible illnesses.

Invisible illnesses are health conditions that are not visibly apparent, including mental health conditions, autoimmune diseases, and learning disabilities. This scholarship is open to people who have been impacted by invisible illnesses in any way. Whether you have an invisible illness yourself or someone in your life has an invisible illness that has impacted you, you are eligible to apply.
Please ensure that you read each question carefully and include all of the information required. Failure to do so may result in the disqualification of your application.
All applications will be kept confidential and only the decision committee will have access to applications. We understand that you may be sharing personal and vulnerable information in this application; therefore, we will dispose of all applications once the winners are decided and we will not publicly announce the winner without their consent. Once the winner is selected, we will contact them and give them the option of presenting the scholarship to them at their Grade 12 Convocation Ceremony. This will be entirely their choice and will not impact the decision making process.
