The Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce & Industry, along with the Council for Working Women, present the ATHENA Award annually to a person who demonstrates outstanding commitment to their profession, their community, and to the advancement of women.
INSTRUCTIONS:
  • Only nominations for the ATHENA Award submitted on this form will be considered.
  • This form may be shared.
  • All nominating forms must be completed by July 10, 2026.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Nominations will be evaluated using the following criteria, each nominee must:
  • Demonstrate support of professional women unselfishly in their behalf.
  • Demonstrate excellence in business or their profession.
  • Provide valuable service to their business, profession, and the community.
  • Exhibit initiative and creativity enhancing both their business or profession and the stability and improvement of the community.
  • Willingly serve as the Joliet Region Chamber’s community representative for the ATHENA Award.
