Award Winning Leadership Program Comes to Nashville
Tennessee Nonprofit Network (TNN) is excited to announce the return of our award winning leadership program, LeadingUp. This 10-month, cohort-based nonprofit leadership program is designed to hone the leadership and management acumen of emerging leaders in the Memphis nonprofit community.
Led by Dr. Bev Vitali, the program combines cutting-edge theory with hands-on nonprofit management practice to sharpen the skills and capabilities of the next generation of nonprofit executives. The intensive program includes 1 half-day of face-to-face training per month plus assignments in between sessions to tie the material together. Two months will be 2 consecutive full-days.
Ideal Candidate/Requirements:
- High achiever in organization
- Fulfills commitments
- Desires to advance in the nonprofit sector
- Currently work in nonprofit within Shelby County
- 2+ years experience in sector
- Nonprofit sector is chosen career path
- Nonprofit employee (Consultants are not eligible)
- Have buy-in from executive leadership
- Ability/Willingness to commit 1 half-day per month, plus one month with 2 consecutive full days, to cohort
- Commit additional time to homework and assignments
Cost:
Thanks to the generous support of the Frist Foundation, $3,000 of the $3,500 program cost has been subsidized.
