I am considering offering an online course covering Repertory Grid techniques, including rep grid design and analysis using the Idiogrid software. I may include other person-centered methods and analyses as well if there is sufficient interest. As you will see in the questions below, I am considering three options:
    1) a course for credit through Oklahoma State University. The student would pay tuition and complete the course like any other online course offered through OSU. The course would utilize assignments, exams, and discussion boards, and students would have access to the instructor.
    2) a massive open online course (MOOC). The course would not be entirely open as students would be required to pay a fee. No university credit would be awarded, however, at the end of the course. A certificate of completion can be printed. The course would utilize assignments, exams, and discussion boards, and students would have access to the instructor.
    3) a video-feed only course. The student would pay a one-time fee for access to a series of instructional videos that would cover all the same topics and methods as the standard course. Optional practice problems or assignments will also be included. Students can watch the videos at their own pace for up to three years.

Designing and administering this course will be a considerable investment in time, and I may only be able to do so with financial support from the university or directly from students. This is a course I have wanted to teach for a long time, but only with today's technology and the ability to reach around the world do I have the capability of recruiting a sufficient number of students to fill the course.

I thank you in advance for your time in completing this short survey. If you have any questions or would like to contact me personally, please send e-mail to james.grice@okstate.edu.
Sincerely,
James W. Grice, Ph.D.

* 1. What format would you prefer for the course?

* 2. When would you be interested in enrolling in the course?

* 3. Would you like the course to only include Repertory Grids, or to include other Person-Centered methods as well (e.g., Q-Sort, OOM analyses)?

* 4. How would you enroll in the course if it is offered for credit?

* 5. Costs for out of state students (and international students) are approximately $600 per credit hour. How many credit hours could you afford if you enrolled through OSU?

* 6. Do you think it likely your institution or employer would cover the costs for university credit?

* 7. If you would like to complete the MOOC for a certificate, how much would you be willing to pay for the course in U.S. Dollars?

* 8. If you would like to view the instructional videos on your own time, how much would you be willing to pay for access to the videos? Access would be unlimited for up to three years.

* 9. Please enter any comments, ideas, suggestions here. I greatly appreciate your help!
