The Walt Ratterman Award for Creative Community Energy will be presented to the NABCEP Certificant who does the most creative public service oriented renewable energy project of the year. Installations can be domestic or offshore and the certificant can be paid for his or her work, but the project must be performed at no charge for a charitable organization. Considerations such as legacy, local labor and material content, on-the-job-training and project sustainability will help guide the award committee. The Award will be presented during the 2019 NABCEP Continuing Education Conference held in San Diego, CA from March 25-28, 2019.
