The City of Moreno Valley has an established Sister City relationship with San Juan de los Lagos, Jalisco, Mexico, created by Resolution No. 93-57 on July 13, 1993. The City last hosted a delegation from San Juan de los Lagos in February 2023. While the program experienced reduced activity during the COVID-19 pandemic, it has since remained largely inactive. Historically, the Sister City Program has been supported primarily through community and cultural organizations and has included annual visits between the two cities. The program promotes cultural and educational exchanges, fostering greater understanding, collaboration, and connection between the communities.
