Register below for the session: Cracking the Code: Beyond Dewey: Words vs. Numbers
Description: Word-based organization has become a much talked about trend in public libraries. Using words instead of the Dewey Decimal Classification System provides customers the ability to browse and find exactly what they want without having to interpret numerical codes. This invigorating panel will focus on the process of implementing word-based systems and why libraries are deciding to break down barriers so they can make searching more intuitive for customers.

WHERE: Cumberland County Library System Administrative Headquarters Computer Training Lab in Carlisle.
COST: Libraries will be sent a bill for $5 for each person attending an hour long session.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND: All staff that are interested are invited to sign up. Note, session is limited to 9 seats.
This workshop will provide 1 hours of CE credits as needed.
