The Rehabilitative Care Alliance (RCA) is a provincial project management secretariat that is funded by Ontario Health. The RCA is conducting an environmental scan of all emergency departments (EDs) in Ontario to understand how rehabilitative care professionals are currently integrated in ED models of care. To date, the RCA has worked with a provincial Task Group to complete a comprehensive literature review and conduct focus groups with subject matter experts. A thematic analysis was completed of both the literature review and focus groups, which guided the development of this survey.
Your assistance would be appreciated with completion of this survey by end of day Friday, July 17th, 2026. The results of the literature review, focus groups and this survey will guide the development of a guidance document and resources to support the implementation of rehabilitation models of care in Emergency Departments.
The survey should take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.
