The Townships on Beaver Island are working together to try to get NTIA Broadband Grant funding to build a fiber optic network. This will bring fast Internet access to island homes and businesses.

We are asking homes and businesses to take a speed test so that we can understand the actual data speeds currently being delivered by broadband products on the island.

Please only complete one of these response forms per home or business. 

Test Instructions:  On a desktop, laptop, or tablet computer using WiFi or wired Internet data only (please do not take the test on your cellphone or use cellular data), please proceed to http://www.speedtest.net/ in order to take the test. Click the "Go!" button (or "Begin Test," depending upon which internet browser you use) and wait for the results.  You will receive a numerical output of PING, download speed and upload speed.  Please keep these numbers to fill into the question boxes below.
