Continuing Sessional Standing Program (CSSP) is described in the Unit 2 Collective Agreement (CA) in Section 12: Appointments, page 33.

.Were you a member of the CSSP pool in 2016/17?
.How much work in Type 1 equivalents were you offered (under the CSSP Program only) in 2016/17?
.The main goal of the CSSP was to improve job security for members who have been teaching at medium intensity for several years. Do you think the program accomplished this goal?
.In general, did the CSSP increase or decrease your sense of job security?
.What would you like to see happen with the CSSP?
.What direction would you suggest to improve the CSSP in this round of bargaining?
.Currently, to be eligible for the CSS pool, a member must have taught an average of 2 courses (or the equivalent) over 3 consecutive years. If you believe the CSSP members should receive guaranteed work, then how much?
.Some departments are not identifying courses for the CSSP by the January 22 deadline. Should we bargain to ensure that all positions released after the CSSP deadline be offered first to CSSP applicants?
.Currently, the CSSP requires the CSSP postings and the offer to be released by January 22. Should there be a separate postings period followed by appointments?
.Currently, the CSSP requires offers to be released by January 22 and then offers must be accepted within 3 weeks. Would it be useful to have Notices of Recommended Appointments issued, followed by a grievance period and then offers issued?
.Should we create an alternate job security program for Unit 2s with less than the eligibility criteria and for the high seniority Unit 2s with low intensity?
.What has been the impact of the CSSP for you? (open-ended question)
.Are there other concerns with the CSSP that we have missed? (open-ended question)
