Proposed Counselling Service for HVA Member Organisations

A counselling service through Counselling Plus (CPC) for staff of HVA member organisations.

The proposal:

* Counselling Plus Community based in Cambridge Gardens would offer a fast-track service for counselling to the staff of HVA member organisations

* This service would cost £45 per session for CPC to offer.

* The employee would be asked to pay a personal contribution of £10 per session towards the cost; or agree with the employer to fund the full cost if they were unable to make a contribution.

* CPC would invoice the employer for the balance of the £45 on a monthly basis

* Employees would access the service via a referral form held by the employer.

* The initial number of sessions to be funded would be agreed between the employer and the employee (generally between 6 and 12)

* Employees would then be responsible for organising their sessions with CPC and agreeing whether sessions should be face-to face or remote

* The CPC service would be confidential, with no reporting back to the employer.

Your views, please.
1.Do you think that a fast-track counselling service like this for employees of HVA member organisations would meet a local need?
2.On a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 the most likely), how likely would you be in principle to recommend this service to your employees who might need counselling?
3.Do you have any comments or questions about the proposed service?
Many thanks for taking the time to complete this survey.
