Building equity in, and through, the arts.

Art Connect International, and our Youth United Artists, are curating a coalition of community partners, sponsors, speakers and artists for the inaugural Arts Equity Summit in March 2019. We’re glad that you’ve chosen to apply and we’re excited to build with you.

The Call for Art will close on 1/2/19 at 11:59pm. We'll be in touch to confirm we received your application, and the Youth United Artists will send a selection notice by the end of January 2019.

We encourage collaboration, artistic teams are welcome to apply together. That said, we also encourage one "lead" artist submit the application for the team (multiple applications are unnecessary).

If you would like to submit multiple proposals, you are welcome to do so. Please note that the application must be finished in one sitting, you cannot save your work as you go.

For the Arts Equity Summit we are accepting art in multiple formats:

1) Visual Art (including but not limited to: paintings, drawings, sculptures, installations, etc).
2) Performance Art (including but not limited to music, spoken word, theatre, etc.)
3) Multi-media art (including multiple art forms).

The best way for us to get to know you, and your art, is to provide an artist (or collective artist) statement about the work, tell us about yourself, how your work addresses equity, and share some samples.

Samples are easiest provided via links (i.e. if you have a website, have work on youtube, etc).

Feel free to reach out to us if you have any trouble with the application - we're here to help! Connect with Allegra Fletcher via allegra@artsconnectinternational.org
