Introduction
Welcome to the online version of Central Riverside Park Inclusive Playground Open House #1. This survey follows the in-person event held on September 16, 2026, where community members were invited to review the playground’s existing conditions and share how they would like to see it improved.
This online format provides an opportunity for those who were unable to attend the September 16 event to participate in the planning process. Survey participants will review the same information and graphics presented at the Open House and will be asked the same questions as in-person attendees.
The project focuses on creating an all-inclusive playground that serves as a community destination where people of all abilities can play, connect, and enjoy the park together. Additional project goals are described in greater detail on the following page.
Community input during this phase is critical to the design process. Feedback gathered through the Open House and online survey will guide the development of initial playground concepts, which will be shared with the community at a second Open House in November.
