NASW Arizona Feedback Survey |
Social Work Priorities Survey
One of the best pieces of advice I have received over the years is that often times it is better to listen, than to be heard. As NASW Arizona continues to move into this new chapter, I want to hear from all of the social workers in our profession. It’s critical that we listen to what challenges are impacting individuals and families on a direct care level as well as understanding how that is effecting direct service social workers. In that same arena, we must also listen and understand how macro level policies are influencing many of these direct care processes.
I want to hear from you because I want to empower you and our profession to be the best advocates for our clients, our communities and for each other. I am here to listen to you all, first and foremost so that we, as a collective and united front, can be heard by policy makers regarding funding and best practice polices for our clients, by organizations and local governments when it comes to fair wages and by our communities as leaders making powerful changes in the lives of the individuals and families we serve.
