The 82nd Avenue Area Tax Increment Finance (TIF) District Community Leadership Committee is made up of local 82nd Avenue Area residents, business owners, and community members who live, work, and play in the district. The committee is currently working on a 5-year Action Plan to guide investment of approximately $20-25 million over the next five years.
The Action Plan will focus on permanent, physical development needs for the corridor. Before building a strategy, we want to learn about your perspective on the 82nd Avenue corridor as a physical space. What are its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, and aspirations and what potential results would you like to see?
The survey highlights some of what we’ve already heard from local community members in terms of development needs and will ask you to rank those items in terms of importance to you, as well as add anything you think is missing. This information will help inform the Community Leadership Committee’s discussion and recommendations on investment priorities for the next five years.
