2026/2027 NEXT STeP- Nurse Externship Winter Transition Program

Application Packet

A limited number of Winter Extern positions will be made available to foster accelerated learning of the future nurses in a variety of clinical settings. All applicants must be able to commit to an eight-week program that begins with four weeks in the winter and four weeks in the summer. The nurse extern will be partnered with a nurse preceptor on a specified nursing unit.

Applications are due no later than October 3, 2026.
