Thank you for your interest in our Earth Day Camping Experience. Our community Service opportunities would be to plant native narrow leaf cottonwood and red willow saplings along the riparian area of the upper Rio Grande north of the Colorado 142 bridge.Educational opportunities would be to view wild mustangs in their natural grassland habitat along the upper Rio Grande. We will be viewing a completely wild herd in the Brownie Hills on the east bank of the Rio Grande and a herd of a little more tame but free-ranging wild horses.Food and supplies will be provided.
There will be a fee of $20 for camping equipment and transportation. This fee will not be due till a week before the trip. However, please submit this form by FRIDAY, APRIL 7th, 2017.
