We are looking for outstanding community advocates who supported Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh in 2018.

If you know of a deserving candidate please tell us about them here. We'll be giving out three awards:
-Community Advocate Award
-Teen Advocate Award
-Community Partner Advocate (typically awarded to a nonprofit or community group)
-Corporate Advocate (awarded to an individual or group from a for-profit institution)

Nominations will be accepted until February 22, 2019 for individuals or groups who have demonstrated:

-Belief in the importance of free and equitable access to information in a democratic society
-Belief that libraries and librarians are vital to the economic, social and educational fabric of our community
-Ability to act as an ambassador in the community; serving as the eyes and ears of the Library, as well as its voice

Nominations will be reviewed by a committee of library staff who will make recommendations to the CLP Board. The Board will make the final decision and the winners will be announced at the Library's Annual Public Meeting on April 15, 2019.
