The DAWN Rising Star Award is presented annually to women in higher education in Delaware whose potential to achieve is evident.  You may nominate yourself or someone else.  The nominee must: 
  • Be a woman working in a higher education institution
  • Demonstrate a commitment to any aspect of higher education
  • Demonstrate contributions in some or all of the following areas
    • higher education
    • community service
    • overall leadership
  • Demonstrate promise of future leadership
To submit a nomination, provide a description of the nominee in 250 words or less. Attach a copy of the nominee’s resume or bio and other supporting material at the link(s) below (these items will not be returned). Nominations must be submitted no later than September 13, 2019.

The Rising Star Awards will be presented at the Delaware ACE Women’s Network Fall Dinner. Winners of the Rising Star Award receive:
  • Special recognition at the Annual Fall Dinner
  • A Rising Star certificate
  • One year free membership to Delaware ACE Women’s Network
  • Paid registration to the Annual Fall Dinner
