Camp Meeting Survey

Summer camp and camp meeting time is coming again, and we need your input and help to make it happen this year.  Because of the COVID-19 virus and its effects on churches and finances we have been uncertain how to plan.  We just found out last week that it is possible to open camps starting in June, but we feel we need to allow more time to make sure it is safe.  Our finances took quite a hit because of churches being shut down.  Tithe and offerings are down quite a bit and our budget is very tight. However we feel Summer Camp and Camp Meeting are a very important part of ministry here in Oklahoma. We would like your input and support. We are considering a shorter Summer Camp of two weeks in the last part of July, and shorten Camp Meeting, Wednesday through Sabbath, July 15-18. Due to the decrease of tithe and offering we also need to raise $60,000 to make it possible. (In addition to the expense mentioned above, we are currently investing $90,000 this year for new AC units for the lodge, RV electrical repairs, and road & cabin maintenance) We realize that at first glance, that might seem like a large amount, but we believe it is achievable if we all share the load.  Please help us in our decision making by taking the following survey.
