**Participant Guidelines**

1. Starting Position:
- Stand upright with feet shoulder-width apart.
- Extend your dominant arm straight out in front of you at shoulder height or slightly above.
- Grasp the handle of the full stein firmly with your hand, keeping your arm steady.

2. Stein Specifications:
- Use a standard 1-liter beer stein filled to the designated level (with beer, water, or sand, depending on the contest rules).
- No modifications or additional weights are allowed.

3. During the Contest:
- Keep your arm fully extended without bending at the elbow.
- Keep your elbow locked and straight throughout the hold.
- Do not lean or support your body weight on anything other than your arm and hand.
- You may adjust your stance slightly for balance, but your arm must remain raised and steady.

4. Prohibited Actions:
- Bending the elbow or lowering the stein below shoulder height.
- Resting the elbow or arm on any support.
- Using the other hand or any part of the body to support the stein.
- Switching hands during the hold.
- Dropping or spilling the stein intentionally or unintentionally.

5. Judging and Disqualifications:
- Contest officials will monitor all participants for proper form.
- Any violation of the rules will result in disqualification.
- The stein must remain in your hand; if it slips or drops, you are out.

6. Winning Criteria:
- The last participant remaining in the proper position after all others have been disqualified or have dropped out is declared the winner.
- In case of a tie, a sudden-death round may be held.
