Business Development & Outreach Study

The Virginia Department of Small Business & Supplier Diversity is conducting a survey among the small business community in Virginia. The survey will identify business development topics that you deem most important in helping you grow your business. The survey will take about 10 minutes to complete. However, you can start and finish over 3 sessions. This survey is extensive, but very important; your input will be used to help direct our educational / business development efforts.

Demographic information (e.g., primary line of business, location, length of time in business, etc.) will be collected to enable us to group the data. ALL the information you provide is strictly confidential.

Two key items regarding the survey:

1.      We are sharing this survey with several resource partners in Virginia (e.g. PTAC, SBA, SBDC, etc.) and asking they share it with businesses they serve. If you receive multiple requests to complete the survey, don't complete multiple surveys for your business.

2.      If you have multiple businesses, complete one survey per business; don’t combine information for multiple businesses in a single survey.
