Winter 2026 Pilot Project Feedback

The Winter 2026 Pilot Project involves a collaboration between the UASU and the University to provide extended access through the major interior access routes to students. This involves key changes to most major interior access routes as described on The Flame.

Any change like this one can have a few bugs or issues as we move to a new system. If you encounter any doors that should provide access but aren’t or even if you would just like to offer us your thoughts on the pilot project and whether it should be implemented long-term, please let us know through this anonymous form.
1.First off, is there anything specific you would like us to know? Access issues, negative experiences, requests for changes to features or policies?
2.As part of this pilot project, your UASU’s Safewalk volunteers will facilitate access through the following pedways during designated hours after checking for your valid ONEcard:
  • CCIS to University Commons: Access via volunteers from 9:30 to 10:30 PM
  • Education to Kipnes Academy (formerly ECHA): Access via volunteers from 7 to 10:30 PM

Do you have any feedback about Safewalk's involvement in the pilot project?
3.Do you have any other feedback about the pilot project?
4.Interested in volunteering for Safewalk? Go to uasu.ca/safewalk or input your email address here for more information. This information won't be linked to your anonymous responses to the feedback form.
