Wetlands Month Bike Ride

Wetlands Bike Ride Registration

Wetlands Bike Ride
Monday, May 4
Pioneers Park Nature Center -> Wilderness Park
Explore some of Lincoln’s coolest nature from your bike- wetlands! We'll celebrate American Wetlands Month with a bike ride to explore the wetlands of Lincoln's Pioneers Park Nature Center and Wilderness Park on Monday, May 4th from 6-7:30pm.
We'll meet at Pioneers Park Nature Center, bike through Pioneers Park and then bike to Wilderness Park. Along the way, you'll hear from biologists and conservationists about the wetlands that are just off-trail in Pioneers Park Nature Center and Wilderness Park. There will be about 30 minutes of biking at a leisurely pace. We will be biking on trails and park roads.
There is parking available at Pioneers Park Nature Center. Please note that the ride will end at the northern side of Wilderness Park and there is not an organized ride back from Wilderness Park to Pioneers Park.
The event is free. Registration is required so we can ensure that the group is of a size where to minimize risk while biking. Helmets are required.
This program is being presented in partnership with the City of Lincoln Parks and Recreation.
