Disability Sport & Recreation, in partnership with AFL Victoria, brings you AFL Wheelchair. A new and exciting adapted version of Australian Rules Football that gives people with and without a physical disability the opportunity to play our great game.

The Robert Rose Foundation Victorian Wheelchair Football League has begun, but there are still opportunities to come and try the sport of AFL Wheelchair and get involved!

Two 'Open Skill' sessions will be held on Sunday 24 June and Sunday 29 of July at Boroondara Sports Complex. These sessions will lead to a mid-season competition draft.

Please note that successful players who are selected to take part in the VWFL will be charged. This will include a uniform, insurance coverage and additional benefits as provided by the club.

The VWFL will be a mixed competition with females encouraged to participate.

For more information about the sport, and to discuss your suitability please contact Disability Sport & Recreation's AFL Wheelchair Development Officer on (03) 9473 0133
