Future 64: Vandeventer bridges and interchange updates at Grand

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is sharing information about the final designs for an upcoming construction project starting in 2027. As a part of on-going bridge maintenance and continuing efforts to maintain Missouri interstates and roadways, MoDOT needs to completely replace the eastbound Interstate 64 bridge over Vandeventer, closing the eastbound interstate for roughly a year. While the eastbound bridge is closed, the department has planned to make updates to the eastbound I-64 and Grand Boulevard interchange. This work is expected to start in late 2027. When the interstate reopens, westbound I-64 between Forest Park Avenue and Boyle will be rehabilitated.
