“Protect your head” is one of the 10 healthy habits for your brain. Wearing a helmet when riding a bike, scooter, or skateboard helps prevent head injuries, lowering risk of long-term cognitive decline.

ABOUT THE CONTEST:

Show off your helmet smarts! The Cuyahoga County Board of Health’s Brain Health Helmet Contest is your chance to get creative and help spread the word about helmet safety in our community. To learn more about the contest click here.

Cuyahoga County children in grades K-12 with parent or guardian approval are eligible to take part in this contest. There are two ways to participate:

1) Design and color your dream helmet and write why wearing a bike helmet is important to you. Upload a picture of your coloring page below. Click here to access the coloring page.
