NDIS Accessible Communication Survey

Calling all d/Deaf & Hard of hearing NDIS participants and carers!

We want to understand your experience so we can push for better communication accessibility from the National Disability Insurance Agency (the NDIA) for people who are d/Deaf or have hearing loss.

Your answers will help us understand how you get information about the NDIS rules and changes when you need it, and how the NDIA can communicate more effectively with you directly.

This survey does not ask you for any personal information that might identify you.

It should only take 5 minutes to complete.

If you have any questions about the survey or how your answers will be used, you can reach out to us via email at hello@deafnessforum.org.au.

Here’s what we want to know from you:
1.What type of hearing loss do you have?
2.Where do you usually get your information about NDIS rules and changes?
3.Do you feel confident that this information is correct?
4.Do you have any challenges getting access to information about the NDIS when you need it?
5.Is there anything the NDIA can do to communicate better with people who are d/Deaf or have a hearing loss?
Thank you for participating in this survey.

Your lived experience matters. The more people who share their experiences, the stronger our push for real change.
