CH-UH Community Survey

Introduction

Dear Community Member:

The CH-UH School District is currently involved in a comprehensive process to review and “refresh” our strategic plan. A strong and diverse planning committee of faculty, staff, administrators, parents, students, and community members has been formed to provide leadership in the very participatory process. We are in the midst of seeking input from staff, students, elected officials and more. Today we are writing to ask for your input into this process. In advance, thank you for your consideration and for your time in sharing your ideas.

Two key points before you begin the survey: (1) links to the current CH-UH strategic plan and the District’s educational equity policy are provided below for your reference; and (2) once you begin completing the survey, your work cannot be saved before submission. You may want to complete some of the open-ended questions separately and then paste them into the survey form.

This builds on feedback we received in the fall regarding our strategic plan and general attitudes toward the District. We want to provide multiple opportunities to receive feedback from respondents as we plan for the future.

It is essential that all voices and perspectives are represented, so we hope that you will join us in our collective effort to refresh and strengthen our strategic plan. Please know that the Janus Small Associates consulting team will collect, review, and analyze all input and present findings to the planning committee collectively and anonymously. As a community member, your input is critical to the success of this endeavor. Thank you in advance for sharing your wisdom.

Sincerely,

Elizabeth A. Kirby, Superintendent, Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District
Janus Small, President, Janus Small Associates
