Northwest Commission Veteran's Initiative

Initiative Overview

The Northwest Commission has contracted with RecruitMilitary, a military-to-civilian recruitment firm staffed by veterans to assist veterans and their spouses in their search for employment. Employers in the Northwest Commission service area have access to post unlimited job openings on the RecruitMilitary job board. These counties include Clarion, Crawford, Erie, Forest, Lawrence, Mercer, Venango and Warren. Typically an employer would have to pay to use RecruitMilitary’s services, including posting open positions to the Job Board; but we are making this service available for FREE. The goal of the initiative is to help address the workforce needs of the region’s companies. Many veterans have the transferable skills businesses require but have difficulty finding. Now employers have an opportunity to hire and retain some of America’s best talent.
