Developers For a Cause

At K4Connect, we're on a mission to leverage technology to help make peoples lives better. Our first product, K4Life, repurposes off the shelf smart devices for those who we believe would benefit the most - the disabled and senior populations, whether it's someone with a debilitating disease, a veteran wounded in service to their country, or someone as they get older wanting to stay in their home longer.

We're looking for developers who not only like to connect smart devices, but want to help make a real difference in people's lives.

Question Title

* 4. What product, or kind of product, would you like to integrate with K4Connect using the Software Development Kit?

Below is a list of products that already have bridges, so we'd prefer you choose products where a bridge does not already exist.

  • Z-Wave
  • Insteon
  • UPNP (Sonos / Wemo)
  • Nest
  • Philips Hue
  • Bluetooth
  • Ecobee
  • iTunes
Program Non-Disclosure Agreement

As a participant in the program, you'll receive pre-release copies of our software. It is important that you do not share these, tweet about it, discuss in public forums, post screenshots, or share confidential or any information in any way. We're not going to make you sign some scary legal document, but we do want you to know we consider this a "private" beta SDK and trust that you will treat it as such.

Our objective is to get your honest and incredibly valuable feedback to help us help others. There is still work to be one, we know that, so we need a few trusted individuals to help make our product better.

You'll have private access to our developer forums where you can provide feedback, ask questions, or share thoughts on the product. This will be the only appropriate place to do so.

Question Title

* 5. Do you agree?

As this is a "private beta", we are only opening up the program to a select few at present, but do appreciate your interest. If not selected for this first test, we'll be sure to keep you updated on future rollouts.
